Wellness Clinic Inks Deal With The Lake District

According to Yehuda Netanel and Maggie Gallagher of The Lake District, a new wellness clinic has signed an agreement to open in the multi-use development located at I-40 and Canada Rd. The name of the clinic will be called Lakefront Wellness. It will be owned and operated by Dr. Allie Tinnin and Chase Papke (BSN, RN).

The signing of Lakefront Wellness goes along with other wellness related stores in The Lake District such as Activate IV, CycleBar and Stretch Lab (scheduled to open soon). “This is another sign of our total commitment to a lifestyle of wellness here at The Lake District,” Mr. Netanel said.

According to Mr. Chase Papke, one of the two owners of Lakefront Wellness, each practitioner has a long history of treating a variety of medical issues. However, their focus at Lakefront Wellness will be preventative medicine. “Currently, I’m a nurse in trauma surgery at Regional One Hospital. But, as far as I can remember I’ve always wanted to practice in preventative medicine,” Mr. Papke told Lakeland Currents. “When we achieve optimal wellness it bleeds into every part of our lives physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. That’s why we are grateful to be able to offer these services to the growing Lakeland community,” he said.

According to the owners, the clinic will be unique compared to standard health clinics. They will not accept insurance, nor will they treat sick patients with the standard everyday medical issues. “We will not treat colds, but we can help prevent them,” Mr. Papke said. The clinic also plans to partner with a dietician so nutrition can be part of the wellness plan as opposed to simply prescribing a drug as the one and only option like many practices.

“A growing city is only as good as the health of its citizens,” Mr. Papke said. “We want to be the clinic that plays a huge role in ensuring Lakeland thrives in that area.”

No timeline has been given for an opening date at this time.
