NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Pursuant to the requirements of the State of Tennessee in the Open Meetings Act, codified at Tenn. Code Ann. §8-44-101 et seq., the following is published and made known to all interested persons:
The Board of Education of Lakeland School System will meet on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 5:45 P.M. at the Lakeland School System District Office at 3009 Davies Plantation Rd., Lakeland, TN 38002.
At the above referenced time and location, the Board of Education will hold its meeting to address board business and approve board items.
The first item on the agenda will be Discussion/Action on Contract for Superintendent Dr. W. Edward Horrell, III.
