Lakeland Currents has learned Verizon is now officially live on the cell phone tower located behind Lakeland Elementary according to Lou Katzerman with Tower Ventures as well as Superintendent Dr. Ted Horrell.
Verizon customers in the area should see cell phone reception improvement immediately.
No word if other carriers like ATT will be on the tower in the future.
