Get ready for an exciting summer season of events in Lakeland! The brand new parking lot at IH Clubhouse is almost finished and Lakeland will be kicking things off with the First Annual West Tennessee Trail Run scheduled for May 6th. You can learn more about that run in a previous article here.
But the trail run is just the beginning. On May 13th, Lakeland will be hosting the annual Fishing Rodeo from 8am to 11:30am. The fishing rodeo will also be at IH Clubhouse located on Canada Road. Kids will not want to miss the chance to win some awesome prizes for catching the longest fish, most fish overall (boy and girl categories) and more. For those who love movies and food trucks, Lakeland has you covered! On Friday, May 19th and Friday, August 4th Lakeland will offer “Movie Nights” for families. The movie titles are expected to be announced soon for those nights. Don’t forget to bring your appetite for movie nights because Lakeland will have delicious food truck options and more.
Last but certainly not least, mark your calendars for the fan favorite LAMP Concerts which are scheduled this year for June 24th, July 22nd, August 26th, and September 23rd. The concerts will once again be at IH Clubhouse on the main stage after being relocated last year due to construction. Once lineups are announced for the performing acts, we will provide an update, but you can expect an amazing night of music under the stars.
