Lakeland Public Works began asphalt patching and repairs on Memphis-Arlington Road last week and it’s expected to continue this week.
According to the city, the repair work on Memphis-Arlington Road will run east to west within the Lakeland City limits. City officials say the work will cause intermittent lane closures. This project is expected to be complete at the end of June 2021.
Last week, the city officially adopted the 2021-2022 budget during the Board of Commissioners meeting. Part of the budget is nearly $2 million in road repairs and paving for Lakeland.
