The paving project on Memphis Arlington Rd. that began last month is nearing completion. According to City Engineer Emily Harrell, they expect the contractor to finish the job in the next couple of weeks.
This phase, which involves paving Memphis Arlington Rd., is part of the 2021-2022 budget of $2 million in road repairs and paving that was approved by the City of Lakeland Board of Commissioners earlier this year.
The area currently being worked on is just east of the back entrance to Plantation Hills near Wren Hill. Expect intermittent lane closures to continue over the next couple of weeks as it is completed.
