The City of Lakeland Parks & Recreation Dept. will host their second movie night of the season tonight, Friday, August 6, 2021, at IH Park. The park is located at 4523 Canada Rd.
Under licensing agreements, they are not at liberty to publicly announce the movie title, but a teaser on their Facebook post alludes to a baseball classic. The movie will begin at dusk and the Moe’s/Humdinger’s food truck and MemPops will be on site by 6:30.
In keeping with the baseball classic movie theme, if your child played in the Lakeland summer baseball league, they can get a free MemPop if they bring their jersey or hat.
The next and final movie night of the summer family movie series is scheduled for October 1st.
