Owners of Germantown Village Wine and Liquor tapped for 6,000 square-feet at The Lake District

The owners of Germantown Village Wine and Liquor announced today (3.26.19) they are bringing their service, spirits and vast selections to The Lake District (TLD) in a 6,000 square-foot space.

Charles and David Kardoush will take a choice space in the new development at I-40 and Canada Road in Lakeland, according to Yehuda Netanel, founder of TLD.

The yet-to-be-named store joins the growing list of tenants as the latest regional entrepreneur to secure a space at The Lake District, an upscale mixed-use community set to open phase 1 in 2020.

Mr. Netanel said, “Residents and visitors of The Lake District will find a staggering variety of proven standards and fermented newcomers in the 6,000 square-foot space. It’s one- stop shopping for a growler full of pale ale and a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon, some of which retail for over $1000.”

Charles Kardoush said, “We’re delighted to be joining the select group of regional entrepreneurs moving into The Lake District.” He co-owns the Germantown location with his brother David. “Germantown is known for providing the widest selection of wine, liquor and beer, as well as unparalleled service which makes The Lake District a natural fit for our next store. We look forward to being an integral part of The Lake District experience.”

The Kardoush’s commitment to customer service puts them in a strong position for continued success, said Mr. Netanel.   “Regular visits by artisan suppliers from Kentucky, California and New York, to begin, make shopping at Germantown a distinctive, memorable experience.

“Retailers in The Lake District provide the type of merchandise and level of service that turn shoppers into storytellers,” said Mr. Netanel. “That’s just one reason why we’re excited to welcome Charles and David and their fantastic staff. These guys know that when it comes to quality customer service, there is no substitute. The Lake District residents, visitors and retailers alike are going to be toasting Germantown and the Kardoush brothers for years to come.”

This will be the first liquor and wine store to locate within Lakeland.

The growing list of tenants at The Lake District includes Memphis BBQ Co., Frida’s Restaurante Mexicano, Starbucks, Malco Theatres, Brickhouse Fitness, Elite Total Health, Gould’s Salon and Spa, Gloss Nail Bar, The Stock Market, Osaka Japanese Cuisine and Hollywood Feed, among others soon to be announced.
