The staff, faculty and students at LES (Lakeland Elementary School) will participate in a celebration Dec. 7, recognizing the school’s selection as a National Blue Ribbon School this year.
LES Staff and Dr. Ted Horrell, Lakeland School System superintendent, traveled to Washington, D.C. earlier this month to accept the award. Link to story: https://lakelandcurrents.com/les-named-blue-ribbon-school/ .

“Invitations were sent to central office staff and elected officials,” said Ms. Rose. “After the program, a catered lunch will be provided to faculty and special guests by Pink Flamingo Catering.
“Our wonderful PTA is providing Blue Ribbon award T-shirts for all students. And Blue Bell is donating ice cream cups for all students.”
