LMPS Lady Lions Soccer Team roars against CMS

The Lady Lions Soccer Team won its second consecutive game last night (8.28.18), beating the Collierville Middle School (CMS) Dragons at Progress Park in Collierville. The final score was 8 to 1.

Lily Douglas scored two goals. Olivia Hicks, Holli Boeve, Hannah Russell, Saylor Coleman, Courtney Fencl, and Maddie McDaniel scored one goal each.

Assistant Coach Stephen Shearer said of the win, ““Our Lady Lions play an exciting brand of soccer. The 4-3-3 formation fits our skill set and allows us to be really good in attack and defensively. In our 8-1 win today, we dominated possession and controlled the game from start to finish.”

The Lady Lions play again today at 4:30 p.m.They will take on the Arlington Middle School Tigers at Arlington High School.
