The exciting and family friendly LAMP concert series is scheduled to continue this weekend, Saturday, July 22. Despite the summer’s humidity and heat, faithful crowds always gather at IH Park on Canada Road. The venue has a new asphalt parking lot which ensures smoother parking and exciting for the concerts. As always, the concert is entirely free, and the public is welcome. Officials remind residents to bring a chair and some refreshing food and beverages if you like.
Headlining this weekend’s concert in the Summer Entertainment Series at IH Park, which is put on by Lakeland Parks and Recreation, is the talented Amber McCain Band. The show kicks off at 6:30pm and should last until approximately 9pm. Concert goers will also have the opportunity to indulge in delicious offerings from food vendors like Memphis in Mexico, Memphis Dawgs, and Southern Roasted Coffee.
