Officially SOLD OUT! That’s the word regarding ticket sales for the Memphis St. Jude Dream Home in Lakeland. In a record breaking 29 days, the fastest sellout in the campaign’s history, $1.6 million was raised to help support the kids at St. Jude and a record number of tickets was sold.
The dream home drawing and prize giveaway will be held June 27th on Action News 5. Megan Tancrell, Sr. Regional Development Director, Region Memphis ALSAC, said “We are continuously overwhelmed by the history of giving and support the Memphis community has shown St. Jude and this year is no different. We are incredibly grateful for your help in serving our mission: finding cures, saving children.”
Ms. Tancrell also provided the graphic used above – “SOLD OUT” spelled using the ABCs of Cancer artwork drawn by St. Jude patients – a great reminder of the “why” behind events and fundraisers like the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.
