EDC/IDB meeting is tonight
The EDC (Economic Development Commission) and IDB (Industrial Development Board) meet at 6 p.m. tonight (9.24.19) at City Hall.
The regular meeting time for the groups is the fourth Thursday but the date was changed for this month.

EDC business includes discussion on the U.S. Census 2020 Complete Count Committee and Lakeland School System marketing.
For the IDB, agenda items include a TIF (Tax Increment Financing) draw for Lakeland Commons; a street light at Seed Rick Road related to Lakeland Commons; and a real estate purchase agreement with Aldi Inc.
