Coronavirus numbers for 6.18.20

Statistics released today (6.18.20) for COVID-19 in the community include:  7,320 cases: 5.119 recovered (69.9%); 2,050 current (28.0%); and 151 deceased (2.1%).  There have been 102,685 tested in Shelby County. This information is from Joan Carr, public information officer for the SCHD.

The Health Department’s hotline number is 833-943-1658 and is answered daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  After-hours calls are returned on the next business day.  Since its inception March 12th, 6,274 calls have been received with 99 calls answered yesterday.
