It’s time to clear out the cobwebs (unless it’s your Halloween decor!) and weed out your unused items that are cluttering your home, garage and attic. Saturday, October 23rd is the date that has been chosen for the citywide Lakeland yard sale.
The yard sale, held twice a year, is coordinated by Commissioner Wesley Wright, via the Nextdoor app and Facebook. Options for dates are presented and voted on by Lakeland residents and then a date is chosen. There is a sale in the spring and fall.
At the time of this writing, 50+ participants are expected for this weekend’s sale. The weather forecast looks promising as well. From 10am -1pm Yippie, Trippie & the Porkstars Food Truck will be on site at 9131 Pheasant Hill Drive to refuel after your morning of shopping.
