UPDATE:
City of Lakeland staff is closely watching the forecast for Saturday, December 11, 2021, and its impact on the “Holiday Cheer,” Caravan Parade. As there is no rain-out date, a decision will be made in conjunction with the Shelby County Sheriff Office who are leading our parade. We will post a determination on the City’s website, Facebook, and Twitter pages on Friday, December 10, 2021 by 4 PM. Please remember that the parade will begin at 10 am and be paced by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. We encourage you to safely gather with friends and family who live along the route or in one of the 3 parks along which the parade will travel.

The City of Lakeland Parks & Recreation Department has released the route for the second annual “Holiday Cheer,” Christmas Caravan Parade. The date is set for this Saturday, December 11, 2021, beginning at 10:00am. Line-up for the participating floats/vehicles will begin at 9am at the new athletic complex located at 9661 Memphis-Arlington Rd.
