MLGW has posted a Boil Water Advisory for all water customers due to low pressure in the water distribution system due to service line and main breaks in the system as a result of the cold temps.
This is precautionary as the pressure in their system has dropped down to levels where potential contaminants could be introduced.
Lakeland Currents reached out to City Manager Shane Horn regarding the boil notice. Mr. Horn confirmed that Lakeland IS included in the MLGW boil water advisory.
