Attention all kiddos…Even Covid can’t stop the magic of Christmas! Although the City of Lakeland has had to cancel the annual Christmas Festival this year, the children will still be able to get their letters to Santa! According to the City’s announcement, “the City elves are ready and waiting to get your child’s wish list(s) and deliver it straight to the North Pole where elves are busy building toys and gifts.”
Kim Odom, Special Events Coordinator with the City of Lakeland, announced this week that “City elves have been called upon to help Santa gather up all the Christmas wishes of good little boys and girls of Lakeland.”
Lakeland families are being given an opportunity to send their letters to Santa and the City elves will get them to the North Pole. Each child will then receive a personalized return letter from Santa.
Your child will need to fill out the Santa Wish List and get it back to the City by Friday, December 11, 2020. According to Ms. Odom, “Please make sure the print is legible with child’s first and last name. We also need a return address so Santa can respond. Please include name(s) of child(ren), age(s), and complete mailing address. A contact person and email or phone number could be helpful if there are questions.” Print out the form (click the photo above) and have your child fill in their top three items on their Christmas list. You can email it to santa@lakelandtn.org or drop off the letters or mail to City Hall at:
