August 6 Is Primary Day In Lakeland

Today is primary day in Tennessee and that includes two local races important to Lakeland voters. Among multiple races on the ballot, including a US Senate race, the primary for our state representative and our state senator is on the ballot today.

Early voting was held at the Refuge Church the past few weeks but for Primary Day (today) residents vote at their normal voting locations. For most voters in Lakeland that is either First Baptist Church (Canada Rd) or St. Paul Methodist Church (Davies Plantation Rd).
