Early voting continues in Lakeland

According to the Shelby County Election Commission, 22,235 people voted in the first four days of early voting (July 17-22, 2020). Seven hundred eighty of those votes were placed in Lakeland.  Early voting in Lakeland takes place at The Refuge Church located at 9817 Huff N Puff Rd.

Because voters are allowed to cast ballots at any early vote location in Shelby County, but must vote by precinct on Election Day, early vote totals at any location don’t necessarily represent a particular municipality.

Early voting for the Shelby County General and State/Federal Primary began July 17 and continues through August 1, with election day August 6.  Hours at the Lakeland location inside The Refuge Church are 11-7 Mon-Fri (this week and next), 10-4 this Saturday 7/25 and 8-4 on the final day, Saturday 8/1.

There are 4 locations for Lakeland voters on August 6:

ARL02-L          Arlington Middle School
LAK01-L          First Baptist Church
LAK02-L          St. Paul UMC
STE00-L          Oak Springs Baptist Church
