Daily update – COVID-19 – 6.25.20

Statistics released today (6.25.20) for COVID-19 by the Shelby County Health Department (SCHD) include:  8,688 cases, confirmed and probable: 5,958 recovered (68.6%); 2,554 current (29.4%); and 176 deceased (2.0%).

There have been 116,242 total tested in Shelby County.   Among nursing homes and facilities which serve vulnerable populations, there have been 69 deaths, an increase of one.  There have been no deaths reported from the Shelby County Division of Corrections.  This information is from Joan Carr, public information officer for the SCHD.
