Wayback Burgers owner Rina Bo is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of her gourmet burger restaurant in The Lake District. After obtaining her occupancy license, Mrs. Bo is gearing up to welcome customers starting Friday, April 5, 2024. The restaurant has hired 15 employees and will spend the upcoming days training them to ensure a smooth opening.
This new location marks the second Wayback Burgers franchise for Mrs. Bo, who took over another Wayback Burgers location on Germantown Road late last fall. Founded in 1991, Wayback Burgers boasts 156 locations across the US, with a strong focus on delivering the nostalgic flavors of classic burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Mrs. Bo emphasized that while the menu features other items like a great chicken BLT sandwich as well as Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, it’s the fresh, custom-made burgers that are the star of the show.
“Our burgers are always fresh, we do not use frozen meat. When customers come in they will pick their protein source, the cheese they would like, and any sauce or toppings they would like. Everything is custom made for them,” she explained. Additionally, customers can indulge in specialty burgers like the steakhouse burger or the Cajun burger, along with hand-scooped ice cream milkshakes.
Owning two Wayback Burgers franchises is just a part of Mrs. Bo’s family business in the food service industry. Her husband owns a doughnut and breakfast sandwich business on Houston Levee Road, where everything is made from scratch. Mrs. Bo noted that the commitment to quality and fresh ingredients at Wayback Burgers aligns perfectly with their family’s business values.
The Wayback Burgers location in The Lake District can accommodate up to 54 customers and is conveniently located next to Villa Castrioti and Stretch Lab. Operating hours will be from 10:30 am to 9 pm daily.
“We’re excited to finally open and start serving our customers,” Mrs. Bo expressed.
