Warm Night, Hot Tunes at the Third LAMP Concert

Watching, listening to Memphis Funk N Horns at LAMP concert 7.22.17.

It was a sultry, summer night but hundreds of attendees flocked to The LAMP concert last night (7.22.17) to hear Funk N Horns, a Memphis horn band featuring oldies to current music.

There were three food trucks, inflatables for children and The Balloon Man, making creative designs for the kiddos. The venue is at 4523 Canada Road in Lakeland.

If you missed the first three of the summer concert series, there’s still three more this season. All are sponsored by The City of Lakeland with free parking, free children’s activities and free music.

Remaining LAMP concert series, Saturdays, 7 to 10 p.m.
Aug 26 – City’s 40th anniversary celebration featuring Ted Horrell and the Monday Night Card as opening act followed by Nick Black Band
Sept 23 – Band: Seeing Red – Lakeland’s Homecoming featuring cheerleaders/football players.
Oct 28 – Band: Bluff City Bandits.
