The Lakeland Prep PTO has announced its highly anticipated 3rd Annual Gala, A Night at the Arboretum, taking place Friday, November 14, 2025, from 6:00–11:00 PM at the Memphis Botanic Gardens. Open to the entire community, this elegant evening serves as the PTO’s signature fundraising event, with proceeds supporting academic and extracurricular enrichment for Lakeland Prep students in grades 5–12. Ticket sales opened October 13, and with more than 60 pre-sold, organizers expect a complete sellout.
This year’s theme, Sophisticated Hollywood Glamour, promises a modern take on 1970s luxury — golds, creams, sparkles, and vintage silhouettes with a contemporary edge. Guests will enjoy a beautifully designed atmosphere featuring floral arrangements by Crazy Plant Lady of Brunswick Station, a new local business known for its refined natural aesthetic. The evening will include live music by Memphis Funk, upscale hors d’oeuvres by Humdingers, and a curated art market showcasing the works of local artists Amy Stricklin, Megan Dupuy, and Samantha Walker. Attendees will also have the chance to browse fine jewelry, bid on unique auction items, and mingle with local leaders and community members.
For guests seeking an elevated experience, this year’s VIP Bourbon & Wine Tasting will be sponsored by Lake District Wine and Liquor. VIP guests will enjoy premium bourbon and wine tastings, a private string performance, exclusive charcuterie offerings, and early access to silent auction items and special pricing on select wines and spirits.
