The 15th Annual Lakeland Elementary School PTA auction is taking place soon and there’s still an opportunity to participate! This event always offers a unique opportunity for people to dine and bid at a beautiful location, and it’s always attended by a large crowd. The PTA has been tirelessly working to raise funds for LES and has benefited many children over the years. In fact, the auction is the most significant fundraising event of the year for any Lakeland organization.
This year, the PTA has secured thirty sponsors for the event, which has been given the title “Lakeland Nights with a Havana/islands theme.” Organizers say the event is already sold-out, however, there are online tickets available for $20 dollars. Those tickets can be purchased by visiting lespta.wedoauctions.com. Online bidding will be the primary mode of bidding, except for specific items such as “Teacher Features,” “Specialty Cakes,” “Lock Boxes featuring Hollie Winter Jewelry and Dillard’s,” “Wine Pull,” and “Restaurant Row,” which will only be available for in-person bidding and buying. This year each LES class has contributed a themed basket for bidding.
