Golfers across the Lakeland area are invited to swing into action for a great cause as the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce announces its Annual Golf Tournament, returning in 2025 with team registration and sponsorship opportunities now officially open.
The highly anticipated tournament not only promises a day of friendly competition and community camaraderie but also serves a much larger purpose — supporting the Lakeland Chamber and critical Lakeland Schools’ Booster Programs.
Over the years, proceeds from this event have funded vital initiatives across the Lakeland school system, including support for:
- Lakeland Elementary School PTA & Drama Club
- Lakeland Preparatory School PTO, Theatre, Drama Club, Beta Club, and National Honor Society
- Athletic programs such as Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Cheer, Football, Baseball, Lacrosse, and Track & Field
- A notable contribution of more than $11,000 in upgrades to the LPS Field House Weight Room
The tournament, which will be held at the Lakeland Golf Club, continues to be a key driver of investment in Lakeland youth education, arts, and athletics — helping students grow, compete, and succeed both in the classroom and beyond.
