The Lakeland School System (LSS) has released the 2018-19 State Report Card for Lakeland Schools as well as others in the region and across the state.
Dr. Ted Horrell, LSS superintendent, said, “While we often say that our students are so much more than test scores, data, or other numbers on a page, we are also extremely proud of the hard work of our teachers, students, and staff.”
Schools are rated in four categories with “4” being the highest score. Dr. Horrell said the English language proficiency score is a metric regarding the performance of EL (English Learners) students.

Chronically out of school – 3.9
Student growth – 3.9
Progress on English language proficiency – 4
Lakeland Middle Preparatory School
Academic achievement – 3.8
Chronically out of school – 3.9
Student growth – 3.9
