The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Relax Inn (3645 Canada Rd.) this evening, November 18, for what’s being called a domestic disturbance.
Officers were moving in and out of one particular room located on the north side of the property taking pictures of what’s assumed to be the crime scene. No other rooms seemed to be under investigation.
There was a report of an ambulance on the premises but Lakeland Currents has not been able to confirm that report at this time.

John Morris, Public Information Officer for SCSO, confirmed for Lakeland Currents that the disturbance at the Relax Inn is indeed a domestic situation. He also confirms the scene has been fully secured by officers.
