The free Shelby County History Festival will be from noon to 5 p.m. April 7th at Davies Manor, 3570 Davieshire Dr., Bartlett.
The Manor is about a mile west of Lakeland from Canada Road down East Davies Plantation Road.

On the grounds of Davies Manor for the Festival will be carriage rides, Model T rides, tours of the Manor House, scavenger hunt, nature hike and live music.
Picnic on the lawn or purchase food on site.
Historical organizations will display past and present activities at Hillwood Hall such as BackBeat Tours, Descendants of Early Settlers, Elmwood Cemetery, Manakin Huguenot Society, Shelby County Archives, Tennessee Genealogical Society, Trail of Tears/Fort Prudhomme and Woodruff Fontaine House Museum.
