After two years of delays, Shadrach’s Coffee is set to open its highly anticipated Lakeland location next week. The drive-thru coffee shop did a soft opening today, September 6, 2024 and will begin full service on Monday at 6 a.m. Shadrach’s is located on Highway 64, next to eSporta Fitness near the I-40 exit.
This marks the first venture into the Mid-South for the Arkansas-based coffee company. In previous reports to the City of Lakeland, Shadrach’s cited the high traffic volume on Highway 64 as a key factor in choosing the location. The Lakeland area is no stranger to coffee lovers, as this will be the fifth coffee shop in the city, joining two Starbucks locations, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Carrington Oaks Coffee Company.
Lakeland Mayor Josh Roman expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition to the community. “Lakeland is a great opportunity to grow a business. Couple that with the many people traveling from Oakland to Eads to access I-40, and I really think Shadrach’s will do well and be a great community partner,” Roman told Lakeland Currents.
Shadrach’s Coffee offers a diverse menu featuring a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and shakes, catering to all tastes.
