SCHD COVID-19 Daily Update: April 7, 2020

Shelby County currently has 845 confirmed COVID-19 cases. The total number of deaths in Shelby County attributed to COVID-19 to 18, according to Joan Carr, public information officer for the Shelby County Health Department (SCHD).  That is an increase of five from yesterday.

The Health Department’s hotline number 833-943-1658 was activated March 12. Since that date, it has fielded hundreds of calls from the general public about COVID-19.
