SCEC: Changes in some polling locations

The Shelby County Election Commission (SCEC) reminds voters that several polling locations including one in Arlington have been changed.   Election Day is tomorrow (3.3.20) and voters are required to vote at their assigned precinct location.

For ARL-02, Arlington Safe Room, 11842 Otto Lane replaces Arlington Town Hall-Middle School at 5854 Airline Rd, according to Suzanne Thompson, PR consultant for SCEC.

Ms. Thompson said an estimated 120 Lakeland residents vote at ARL-02 because of a precinct split.  “The Arlington residents, and the Lakeland residents voting there, will have different ballots even though they vote at the same place.”

Letters were sent to impacted voters last month.

Voters can use the precinct locator and find the full list of polling locations at https://www.shelbyvote.com.
