The final LAMP concert of the season will be a Lakeland Homecoming with presentation of youth football players and cheerleaders from the City Parks and Recreation programs and LMPS (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School).
Ted Horrell (Lakeland School System superintendent) & the Monday Night Card will open for the evening’s featured band, the Bluff City Bandits.
The free, family-friendly concert is from 7 – 10 p.m. at IH Park, 4523 Canada Rd. Parking is available adjacent to the outdoor venue or across the street at Lakeland First Baptist Church.
The Lakeland Senior Center (LSC) will have an open house and crafts fair from 5 – 7 p.m. at the IH Clubhouse, located above the LAMP amphitheater. Kim Odom, manager of the LSC, said all crafts are made by LSC participants. They will also sell a Christmas ornament for $10. Proceeds benefit the Senior Center and the Lakeland Parks and Recreation Department. For information about the arts and crafts fair, contact Mrs. Odom at 746-8195.
It’s the final concert of the 2018 season. Bring chairs or blankets, your family, your friends. There will be an inflatable for children and balloon magic with Mr. Mike the Balloon Man. The Parks and Rec Snack Bar will be open starting at 6 p.m. on the deck of the IH Clubhouse. Food truck is Hayden’s Grill.
