Lt. Jeremy Springer with the Bartlett Police Department said this morning (10.2.19) two of the runaways from the Varangon Academy in Bartlett are still at-large.
“They are all juveniles,” said Lt. Springer. “One was found the first day, one went back to Varangon yesterday (10.1.19) and two are still at-large. The last sighting was near Rockcreek Parkway.”
Four juveniles from the youth detention facility at 3030 Brunswick Rd ran away Monday morning (9.30.19) and were seen in the Stonebridge area of Lakeland and also along i-40 near Lakeland. There was much police presence Monday in Lakeland searching for the juveniles.
Lt. Springer said because the runaways are juveniles, more information cannot be released.
