Sunday (7.22.18) is the deadline for regular registration for 2018 fall soccer, with late registration ending July 29, according to Wendi Haley, recreation program supervisor for the City of Lakeland.
Ms. Haley said Little Superstar Soccer is an exclusive soccer league which offers professional training for youth athletes with a focus on the well-being of children. The activity provides an opportunity to learn about the sport, be physically fit and cultivate the love and passion for the sport.
“We believe that with the right attitude, professional training, and support that our children can cultivate the skills required – technical, tactical, physical and psychological — to reach any of their goals, be they college or even soccer as a profession.”
She added, “At the same time, we look to better our Lakeland community by building a generation with strong values, discipline, ambition and dreams.
2018 Fall Soccer registration process
Register online at www.lakelandtn.gov/leagues and click on register (top right hand corner).
Select the program based on your child’s age and register.
You will be prompted to create an account and complete the registration process.
You can also view program information by selecting “Youth Programs” and “Youth Soccer”.

2 full sets of uniforms – jersey, shorts and socks
Uniforms will remain the same for a minimum of two years from the Spring 2017 season.
**2018 Fall Season will be the last year for these uniforms.
Season dates
The season begins August 11 thru October 20. There will be no training for Labor Day weekend September 1-3.
Day & time of practice will be announced based on coach availability (You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the season)

Volunteer coaching activities
Volunteer coaching is among the most important part of running a nonprofit sports club. Your help and dedication to your child’s athleticism and development will not go unnoticed. As an incentive for those of you that are willing to volunteer, Little Superstar Soccer will be giving a discount for parent coaches. You will be responsible for ordering and paying for uniforms.
