The annual Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament is approaching and half of the proceeds will benefit Lakeland schools, according to Brittney Buchanan, Chamber executive director.
The title sponsor of this year’s event is Renaissance Group. Located in Lakeland, Renaissance Group is an architecture, engineering, planning and interior design firm that has been involved in numerous local projects. “Their support of this event is a reflection of their dedication to our community, said Mrs. Buchanan.
The event starts at 11 a.m. Oct. 1 and will be at Stonebridge Golf Club, 3049 Davies Plantation Road. Included in the registration are lunch and golf along with cash prizes, contests and raffles, according to Brittney Buchanan, executive director of the Chamber. Tee off is at 12:30 p.m.
