Lakeland families and dog lovers are invited to a tail-wagging afternoon of fun at Pupapalooza in the Park, set for Saturday, October 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the dog park located next to Zadie Kuehl Park. Parking for the event will be available at The Pet Hospitals–Lakeland, located at 3031 Canada Road.
Hosted in partnership with the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County and The Pet Hospitals–Lakeland, the event will spotlight adoptable dogs from local rescues and give attendees the chance to learn about fostering, volunteering, and supporting animal welfare in the community.

The festival promises something for everyone, including:
- Live music and dog costume contests
- Food trucks and local vendors
- Meet-and-greet opportunities with adoptable dogs
- Volunteer and foster sign-ups
- Prize drawings for those who donate
Guests are encouraged to bring their own four-legged companions and enjoy an afternoon of music, food, and community spirit—all while supporting a great cause.
