There are three openings on the volunteer Parks & Recreation/Natural Resources Board for the City of Lakeland.
The Board meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. Members review and recommend park development plans, recreation programs and locations for new parks. The Board also makes recommendations related to the conservation of natural resources. Terms are three years.
Open positions will be presented to the BOC (Board of Commissioners) at their Thursday (1.9.20) meeting. Applications should be submitted ASAP, said Kevin Rooney, Parks and Recreation Department director.

Steve Snow, Scott Robbins and Mark Mangone are rolling off the Board and Mr. Snow will run again for his position.
