You may have heard the projected dates before, but this is fairly certain. Training for staff begins soon at Owners Box Sports Grill. It is one of the corner establishments of phase one of Lakeland Town Square. One thing that will strike your attention is the expanse of space and décor. It has enough TV screens to carry numerous sports events. Games will be on through the house speakers so you will not miss out on the action. There are ninety-two seats in the bar, forty-two in the owner’s box area just across from the bar, one hundred and sixty-two in another large section of the restaurant, more than forty in the patio (with more coming) and a conference room with fifty seats.
Currently plans are to be open Sunday through Thursday 1030am -11pm and Friday – Saturday 1 or 2 am. Daily specials will include but not necessarily be limited to half price wine and bourbon on Wednesdays, Monday and Sunday trivia nights coordinating with organizations such as the Lakeland Education Foundation and Pint night Tuesday. Amanda Martelli, the manager, is very excited to open the doors and welcome everyone. She has been the manager of Buffalo Wild Wings for many years and understands how to take Owners Box to the next level. The exact date of opening has not yet been determined but that will come very shortly.
