It’s closures, it’s social distancing, and it’s sheltering at home. But amid the challenges of COVID-19, the east Memphis location of Chicken Salad Chick (CSC) will take your online orders and deliver them to Lakeland next week.
Commissioner Michele Dial spearheaded the eatery coming to the City as a way to have something different during difficult times. Details were cleared through other members of the Lakeland Board of Commissioners as well as city staff.
“When I spoke with Jenny Crews, the general manager at the Poplar Perkins location, I told her Lakeland is inviting them with open arms. During this quarantine, something different to eat would be appreciated and enjoyed.”
Online orders will be taken by the restaurant through 6 p.m. Tuesday (3.31.20) with delivery between 4 – 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The food pick up location will be in the Corner Shops of Lakeland in front of Nutrition Spot, suite 110, 2961 Canada Rd. Customers are asked to stay in their cars for pickup and follow the traffic pattern.

Commissioner Dial said, “Being able to order and pay online, then have it delivered to our community will be a treat for many! Whenever I’m asked about businesses I’d like to see in Lakeland, I always say CSC!!”
