The shooting victim found Friday night (1.25.19) on Memphis Arlington Road is believed to be from Arkansas, according to Deputy Sheriff Lt. Anthony Buckner with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO).
Lt. Buckner said, “The investigation into the Lakeland shooting victim continues. The victim is believed to have been from Arkansas. There is no additional information to release at this time.”
Freddie Mills, 37, was identified as the man found shot in the driveway at 9427 Memphis Arlington Road, which is the address for Greater Bush Grove M B Church in Lakeland.
The victim was found shortly after 11 p.m. according to the SCSO.
