A new 9/10-year-old division has been opened for youth flag football this year in Lakeland, according to Pat O’Mara, director of the Lakeland Parks and Recreation Department. Mr. O’Mara said the division is for players who will be no older than 10-years-old Aug. 1st.
Registration ends June 30th and late registration fees are being waived, said Mr. O’Mara. Registration fees will be collected in July.
Mr. O’Mara said youth tackle football closed registration a few days ago as the limit on players has been met.
