Framed photos of the six former mayors of Lakeland are now on display in City Chambers of Lakeland City Hall.

Malcolm E. Fletcher 1993-1997
James P. Bomprezzi Sr. 1997-2001
Scott Carmichael 2001-2013
Wyatt Bunker 2013-2018
The photographs were announced by Shane Horn, city manager, at the Board of Commissioners (BOA) meeting Dec. 12th.
He said Tammi Ware-Staggs, Lakeland administrative assistant/city court clerk, facilitated the project and had the photos resized and framed. The idea was driven by Mayor Bomprezzi and supported by current Vice Mayor Josh Roman, said Mr. Horn. Kevin Rooney, director of the Parks and Recreation Department, and Emily Harrell, city engineer, helped to hang the photos.
Mr. Horn said original photos will be offered to family members of former Mayors.
Succeeding Mayors’ photos will be added to the wall at the completion of their service to Lakeland.
