A “Lunch & Learn, Grab & Go” Session previously added to the Lakeland Senior Center (LSC) August programs has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. Nov. 12th, according to Kim Odom, LSC manager.
Mrs. Odom said the original date of Aug. 30th was too close to the Labor Day holiday.
In explaining the event, she said, “Are you and your family ready for the difficulties that present themselves if you become incapacitated or pass on? The information given will surely make you feel more assured that you are ready or on the right track.
“It will be fun and informative. It’s being presented by Robert Poore, a retired senior consultant in the healthcare business with 20 years in Army medical and aviation.”
Mr. Poore said, “I am not a lawyer, financial planner, CPA, burial plot sales person. I am an individual, like many of you, who realized I needed to prepare for the inevitable.”
RSVP for the Nov. 12th program by calling Kim Odom at 746-8195.
The LSC serves seniors 55+ and is located at 4527 Canada Rd.
