A political forum for Mayoral and Commissioner Candidates has been set up for October 22, 2018. The event will take place at Lakeland Middle Preparatory School at 6:00 pm. LMPS is located at 5020 Lions Crest Dr. The forum will be moderated and facilitated by the Northeast Shelby Republican Club and hosted by the Lakeland Prep PTO.
All candidates for the Mayor and Board of Commissioners for the upcoming election have been invited to participate. It is important that all the candidates be heard and seen and be able to present their platform. The PTO is merely hosting this event and, as a body, takes no position in the election.
Questions will be collected from the audience prior to the start and will be drawn at random from the pool of questions.
Only questions presented prior to the start of the forum will be allowed.
PERSONAL ATTACKS OR OUTBURSTS ON CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
