The three bands of LMPS performed in a mid-winter concert last night (2.25.19) with “Around the World in 60 minutes” in the LMPS Cafetorium.
The venue was overflowing with parents, grandparents and friends who came to watch the middle school students perform.
LMPS (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School) Band director Anneliese Land said all the pieces related to different locations across the globe.
There are 32 members in the Beginning Band; 48 in Concert Band; and 18 in the Jazz Ensemble.
