Lakeland School Board.

During the Lakeland School Board (LSB) meeting tonight (Feb. 13), members approved the legislative agenda which will be presented in Nashville Feb. 21 during “Day on the Hill.”

Coordinated by LSB members Teresa Henry and Geoff Hicks, the agenda outlines topics to be presented to legislators.  Talking points include ACT/SAT/TNReady testing, physical education and school vouchers. Mrs. Henry reviewed the day’s schedule which allows LSB members individual time with multiple members of the Tennessee House and Senate. The visit to the State Capitol is an annual trip for the Lakeland Board.
