As the preparations for the highly anticipated spring musical, “The Lightning Thief,” are in full swing, the LPS Theatre Company is leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to raise funds for this major production and the overall growth of their program.
Excitement is in the air as the Thespian Troupe 10902 proudly unveils their first-ever student-planned fundraiser, bringing the enchantment of a character breakfast to Lakeland. Set against the backdrop of a certain theme park in Orlando, this unique event promises a delightful experience for attendees of all ages.
Zoey Yale, a 10th-grade student and President of the Thespian Troupe, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “By supporting our troupe, we are able to help fund amazing trips like ThesCon, attend professional shows, participate in workshops, and open up more opportunities for our fellow thespians.”
Scheduled for February 3, the character breakfast offers a chance to meet beloved characters, indulge in bottomless pancakes, and have faces adorned with vibrant paintings. The event boasts a diverse lineup of characters, ranging from superheroes and dinosaurs to beloved fairytale figures, ensuring a magical experience for everyone.
