LPS Orchestra Booster Club President
The orchestra program led by Mrs. Greene has continued its path of excellence in 2023 with seven middle school students and four high school students making West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association All West. For Middle School Bethany Brown (violin) – 12th chair, Chace Adduci (violin) – 18th chair, Madelynn Wen (violin) – 38th chair, Evan Lowrey (viola) – 4th chair, Sidney Latham (viola) – 17th chair, Carlos Ferrer (cello) – 10th chair, Gabe Mace (bass) – 6th chair. For High School Ben Kanda (violin) – 18th chair, Elaina Wright (violin) – 23rd chair, Santiago Gonzalez (viola)- 6th chair and Thomas Nichols (violin) – 1st Alternate.
The All-West Orchestra Clinic and Concert will be February 8-10, 2024. Students will be rehearsing with students from all over Shelby County for the concert to be held on the 10th at the Cannon Center. More information will follow. In the meantime, mark your calendars for the Thursday December 14th Silent Auction and Orchestra Holiday Concert in the LPS Auditorium.
