The 22-members of the LMPS (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School) Volleyball team start the 2018 season with a game against Collierville Middle School Aug. 21.
The team has new coaches this year: Katy Betts, 8th grade math teacher, and Lauren Cocroft, 6th grade math teacher.
To facilitate more summer practices, the Lakeland School System paid for new holes in the gym floor and the Volleyball Booster Club purchased a second set of poles and net, said Cindy Brock, social media chair for the group.

Mrs. Brock encourages membership in the LMPS Volleyball Booster Club.
“Get two passes for ALL home regular season games with your $35 membership. Print the form (below), complete it and bring a check for $35 to LMPS at the end of practice today (8.10.18) or the first home game Aug. 23. Please arrive at 5:55 p.m. to turn in your forms at the back door to the gym. Passes will be available starting today. THANK YOU for supporting the LMPS volleyball team.”
